Amigurumi Yoda

 Baby Yoda.

This pattern use US terminology.

Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet    
ch: chain
st: stitch
inc : increase
dec: decrease
sl st : slip stitch
BLO: back loop only
CC: change color
F/O: Fasten off
R: Row/Round 

Materials:
3 mm crochet hook
5ply Milk cotton yarn in green and dark brown
Needle for sewing
Stuff
Scissors
5 mm safety eyes
black embroidery floss

Note: work in continuous round

Head and Body
Head:
Use green
R1:     ch 2, starting from second chain from hook, 6 sc   (6)
R2:     inc, rep 6x  (12)
R3:     sc, inc, rep 6x (18)
R4:     sc, inc, [2 sc, inc = rep 5x], sc (24)
R5-9:    sc around (24)
R10:    2 sc, dec, rep 6x (18)Attach eyes between R7-8, give space around 3 sts between them.

Body:
Change color to brown or dark brown
R12:    BLO, sc around (12)
R13:    3 sc, inc, rep 3x (15)
R14-19:    sc around
R20:    BLO, sc, dec, rep 5x (10)

Arms (make 2):
Use green
R1:     ch 2, starting from second chain from hook, 5 sc   (5)

R2:    sc around
CC to dark brown
R3-6:    sc around
F/O leaving a long tail for sewing

Ears (make  2):
Use green
R1:    Ch 7, starting from second chain from hook, sc, 3 hdc, sc, 3 sc in the corner, continue your work st around the other side of chain, sc, 3 hdc, sc (13), ch 1, turn
R2:    3 sc, 3 sl st, (slst, picot, sl st = in the same st), 3 sl st, 3 sc
F/O leaving a long tail for sewing.

Coat:
Use dark brown
R1: ch 25, starting from second chain from hook, 23 sc,
    3 sc in the corner, continue your work st around the other side of chain, 22 sc, inc (50)
R2: inc, 22 sc, (inc= 3x), 22 sc, (inc= 2x) (56)
F/O leaving along tail for sewing

 


 

 

Finishing:

- Fold the ear and sew a few stitches together. Sew the ears between R7-8 of the head.

- Sew the arms on the body.

- Put the coat on the body.
