Kartini Doll

These doll are wearing one of Indonesia transitional clothes, which called "Kebaya Kutu Baru" . It is the simplest design of kebaya. Usually kebaya is combined with sarong, batik or songket for its skirt.

Middle Part of Kebaya:

Finishing:
Sew head on body. Add more stuff before it close completely.
Sew Arms on body.


Sew hair on head. Stuff the bun, then sew it on the hair. Add more stuff if needed before you sew it completely.

Sew batik skirt to body, or sew press stud button to its skirt.
Sew the press stud buttons to inner side of kebaya and front side of middle part of kebaya. Join another side by sewing them together. See picture as a guide

Sew some sequins on kebaya (optional)
