Materials:
Yarn in red, white, green and pink (or any color you like)
Crochet hook
Stuff
Needle for sewing
Glue (optional, you can also sew the mini flowers and leaves)
Scissor
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
sl st: slip stich
F/O: fasten off
Wreath Ornament
Using red yarn
ch 30, join the chain to make ring
R1: 30 sc
R2: sc, inc, rep around (45)
R3: sc around
R4: sc, inc, rep around, sc in the last st (67)
R5-10: sc around
R11: sc, dec, rep around, sc in the last st (45)
R12: sc around
R13: sc, dec, rep around (30)
R14: sc around
F/O leaving long tail for sewing
Flower:
I used light green and yellow for contrasting color, white and pink yarn for main color
R 1: With contrasting color yarn, ch 2, 5 sc in second ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc. Cut off yarn.
R 2: Attach main color, (ch 2, 2dc, ch 2, sl st) in the same sc, sl st to the next sc, rep 5x for making 5 petals. F/O
Leaves:
Using Green yarn
R1: Ch 8, sl st in the second ch from hook, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl, ch 1 continue working across opposite side, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st, + sl st to the first st
F/O
Chain:
Using red, ch 17-20
F/O leaving long tail for sewing
Finishing:
- Sew the starting chain of wreath and last round together. Stuffing and sewing little by little. Do it until the wreath closed.
- Sew or glue the flower and leaves to wreath.
- In this part, you also can decorate your wreath with beads or any decoration you like.
- Sew crochet chain to wreath for hanging it to Christmas tree.
