Very simple Keroppi keychain.....
Abbreviations:
sc: single crochet
ch: chain
inc: increase
dec: decrease
F/O: Fasten off
rep: repeat
Materials:
2 mm crochet hook
Yarn (green, pink and white)
Little red yarn for sewing mouth
Needle for sewing
Small pieces of Black Felt
Stuff
Fabric Glue
Note:
This pattern works in continuous rounds (instead of joined rounds).
Head
Green
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 6 sc
R2: inc, rep 6x (12)
R3: sc, inc, rep 6x (18)
R4: 2sc, inc, rep 6x (24)
R5: 3sc, inc, rep 6x (30)
R6: 4sc, inc, rep 6x (36)
R7-12: sc around
R13: 4sc, dec, rep 6x (30)
R14: 3sc, dec, rep 6x (24)
R15: 2sc, dec, rep 6x (18)
Stuff the head
R16: sc, dec, rep 6x (12)
R17: dec around
F/O, leave long tail for sewing
Eyes (make 2)
White
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 6 sc
R2: inc, rep 6x (12)
R3-4: sc around
Stuff
R5: dec around (6)
F/O, leave long tail for sewing
Blush Circles (Make 2)
Pink
R1: ch 2, starting from second chain from hook 6 sc
R2: inc, rep 6x (12)
F/O
(If you want to sew the blush to the head, leave a tail long for sewing)
Assembly
Sew on keroppi’s eye as seen on the picture above.Cut out 2 black felt and glue them onto keroppi’s eyes with some fabric glue.
Glue the blush to the keroppi’s head, or you also can sew it.
Sew the mouth between the blushes with red yarn.
Sew the tail from the bottom of the head to the top of the head. Attach the keychain.
And Congratulations, you’ve completed your Keroppi’s head keychain.
